Our church has a lovely tradition of bringing forward Easter baskets full of food to be blessed during the Easter mass during the offertory. The tradition originates from Eastern Europe, but you do not need to be Eastern European to add this to your family’s Easter traditions. If you would like to have your Easter Food basket (or even the basket with your Easter bunny) blessed during the Offertory, please come to the back of the church before the Offertory Procession on Easter Sunday and you will be included in the Offertory Procession.
