On Saturday 2 April, the COS Hand in Hand Refugee project hosted a special dinner for Ukrainian refugees. The dinner featured authentic Ukrainian cuisine prepared by some of our Ukrainian friends. The festivities also included face painting and activities for the children, nail polishing sessions, and live music.
All the reactions to this amazing dinner event were heartwarming and inspiring.
Thank you to the Justice and Peace group and to all our volunteers who made it possible to provide these families with a few hours of distraction from the war with fun, good food, and a chance to commune with one another.
