The money raised by our Food Fair 2026 will be donated to small, non-governmental self-help projects around the world.
To be considered, each charity must be nominated by a registered COS parishioner. The nominating parishioner is responsible for gathering the required information about the charity, filling in the official application form and submitting the completed form to our Charity Committee for consideration.
Completed application forms must be submitted by email to the Charity Committee by 30 September. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Applicants are advised to start filling in the form early as some of the required information may take time to collect.

Here are the guidelines for this year’s nominations.
Guidelines for Applicants
- The project must be sponsored by a registered member of the Church of Our Saviour, The Hague.
- For this year’s edition of the Food Fair, a maximum of 1000 euros will be awarded to successful projects depending on the number of applications.
- Due to the limited funds available this year, the charities committee will take into account booth participation and limit awards accordingly.
- Each sponsor of the charity is required to complete and sign part A of the application form.
- The Project Manager in the country where the project is to be implemented is required to complete and sign part B of the application form together with the bank details form, which needs to be signed by the bank where funds are to be received (if selected).
- All questions on the form must be answered. ONLY FULLY COMPLETED FORMS WILL BE CONSIDERED. IT IS PARTICULARLY IMPORTANT TO SUBMIT COMPLETE INFORMATION ON BANK DETAILS AS THE LACK OF THESE MAY CAUSE DELAY IN PROCESSING MONEY TRANSFERS TO THE APPROVED PROJECTS.
- Funds may only be requested for educational, spiritual, medical, agricultural, and social welfare projects but not for personal development.
- Preference will be given to small, non-governmental self-help projects. These projects should be yielding and self-sustaining, oriented to community development.
- No project will be supported for more than 3 consecutive years.
- An interview with the Sponsor may be organised.
