On Sunday December 8th the church resounded to the beautiful music of the Christmas season. Many groups from our parish performed well-known Christmas carols. We had the Children’s choir conducted by Patricia Butterfield, the Youth Group, the COS Music Ministry conducted by Vivien Khouw, an all-female chorus, and the Children’s Liturgy kids led by the Children’s Liturgy Team.

There was also a trio of young performers (10 and 11-year-olds) who regaled the audience with their performance on the violin, cello and piano. One of the performers, Sara, is the 11 year old daughter of our pianist Misaki Kazama. Our parish assistant and soundman Kyle Biebel sang a beautiful rendition of O Holy Night.

The audience filled the church with their presence and joined in singing the carols.

The concluding song – Feliz Navidad – was sung with great gusto thus bringing to a glorious end another great Christmas singalong morning.

The Christmas market that took place in the galleries of the Church served up mince pies, gluh wine as well as beautiful handmade articles, cards, candles, crocheted bags, books, clothes and Nativity scenes.

There was a Raffle with Christmas themed prizes and the COS Lunchroom served up a delicious savory meal in the atrium.

Thanks to everyone who participated in the music, the Christmas market, the COS Lunchroom and in the audience.

May you all be blessed abundantly!!

And some videos to enjoy.
