On Sunday, 11 December, there was a Christmas Sing-along in the church after mass to get everyone into the Christmas spirit. Oslando Desouza was a very engaging Master of Ceremonies. The Aichmayr family strings ensemble started off the program with a special instrumental musical treat. This was followed by melodious singing by the COS Children’s Choir led by Patricia Butterfield and the COS Joint Choir led by Vivien Khouw, with special participation by 9-year-old violinist Sara Kazama. Katelyn Padillo did a lovely job narrating the script written by Mary De Souza. And the story of the Little Drummer boy (played by Niño Pilot) reminded us of what the season is all about! A big thank you to all who joined in and made this a very special and memorable event.
For those of you who missed it, or for those who would like to re-live the experience, here is a lovely video recording and some photos from the event.
