On Saturday afternoon, 13 June, we held our annual Food Fair. It is a celebration of the rich diversity that makes our Parish so special, and all the proceeds go towards small, international charities.

Booths were set up around the outside of the church serving food delicacies from some of the many nationalities represented in our Parish. There were also activities for the children to enjoy. By the end of the afternoon, all the food was sold out and it was obvious that a good time was had by all.

The winners of the raffle will be draw this coming weekend (21 June), so there is still time to buy your last minute raffle tickets.

Of course, it takes a lot of work to make events like this happen, but seeing the smiles on everyone’s face at the end of the afternoon, it was all worth it. Many thanks to the Food Fair organizing committee and to Nnamdi from the Parish Board, who together made the event run so smoothly that it looked easy. It was a wonderful way to end our Pastoral Year!
