Welcome
We are happy to have you with us! It is a pleasure to welcome you into our home!
Welcome
We are happy to have you with us! Due to the COVID-19 situation, we strongly encourage you to wear a facemask when you attend mass. Our ushers and staff have been trained and equipped to make sure mass runs smoothly and safely. Before COVID, we normally had about 700 families visiting us on Sunday. Numbers are not as high now, so you might not experience COS to its fullest, but it remains a pleasure to welcome you into our home!
Dear Visitor,
Welcome to our international English speaking parish. It is great to have you visit us in the community as well as online.
The Roman Catholic Church of Our Saviour in The Hague is a large, vibrant community, which Alumni have described as: “A family far away from home
The morning mass on Sundays is also live streamed from our parish website or YouTube channel, so wherever you are in the world, you are welcome to join us virtually.
In our worship, religious education, and group activities, we try to make the Gospel a relevant inspiration and response to the needs of the world today. You can expect the usual catholic activities and services in our parish. But what makes us unique in The Hague, as the World See of Justice and Peace, is our extensive outreach program. The guidelines from Pope Francis’ Encyclical Laudato Si and the UN sustainable development goals go hand in hand with the values of the Gospel.
I hope you will find a happy home in our parish during your time in The Netherlands. Even if you reside here for a short while, feel welcome to get involved. From over 60 different nationalities, we make this community
Wishing you every blessing during your stay and thank you for being a blessing for us,
Sincerely,
Fr. Sjaak de Boer PhD

We love to get to know you
We know how challenging it can be to enter somewhere new, where you don’t know anybody and don’t know your way around. And while we cannot take that feeling away from you completely, we will do our best to welcome you into our community and make you feel at home.
To see all the different groups and their activities, check out our groups. There are many groups gathering around various different kinds of activities. You are bound to find something that speaks to you. Also, we have a great outreach program with different causes we support. New volunteers are always welcome. It is a great way to get to know other parishioners!
Religious Education
We have 1600 families, with kids from all ages, registered in our community, our religious education program is quite the organization. We offer different levels of religious education, suited for different ages. Our classes start at the beginning of the new school year (September) and run throughout the year. We also have an educational program for adults who want to get to know, grow, or deepen their understanding of Christianity and their own faith.
