| I cannot tell you how many compliments I received today from our guests and the street pastor concerning the quality of the food. Everybody was impressed by the meal. From the soup to the desserts, every course was very much appreciated. They were convinced that we called a professional cook. To all our cooks today. – AWC team for a delicious pumpkin soup with orange and apple – Soraya, Gladys, and Anne for the tasty lasagnas served with salad – Tammy for the vegetarian pastas – Anna-Rita for the apple cakes A BIG BIG BIG thank you! I will add another thank you for succeeding in keeping the costs at a very reasonable level. Prices have been increasing heavily and it is more and more challenging to stay on a budget without compromising the quality of the meal. WELL WELL VERY WELL DONE, Ladies. Thank you to Tammy and Moira who coordinated the service in the kitchen today, assisted by Lia. Our volunteers for the service today were Joseph (great job Joseph!), Giuseppe, Carlotta and Bo, Eunhyuk and Tanvi, at the dishwasher and Celine for the coffee and tea. Thank you all for your hard work. I will not forget our new “assistant floor manager” Melanie, who brilliantly took over Anne’s duties, and succeeded in assuring a smooth and quiet service. Formidable! I was happy today to have a new team to help me with unloading the car and setting up the tables. I appreciate very much your help Dora, Inara, and Mayssoun. You are very welcome to come back. And guess what is my dinner tonight ? One banana and a cup of chocolate milk (cold …. not feeling taking time to warm it up ….). However, I feel good.
