The Pope will visit Luxembourg and Belgium from 26 – 29 September to mark the 600th Anniversary of the Louvain Catholic University.
On Friday 27 September, Pope Francis will meet with students and staff from the university to exchange thoughts on how a university with Christian values can contribute to help the weakest in society, especially refugees.
On Saturday, the Pope will meet the pastoral staff and volunteers of the National Koekelberg Basilica in Brussels. Later that day, he returns to the university to explore the theme of climate change and the social and human consequences of this phenomena.
On Sunday 29 September at 10AM there will be a Mass at the King Boudewijn Stadium in Brussels, where the Carmelite Anna of Jesus, who died in Brussels, will be beatified. The Mass will be broadcast worldwide.
