From Monday, 3 June until Friday, 21 June, the Bezuidenhoutseweg will be closed west of our church. ENECO needs to dig up the road in order to do essential maintenance on the pipes involved with the “stadsverwarming” system. The road will be closed in the pink area on the map labelled “werkgebied”. Automobile traffic will be diverted along one of two routes (indicated in blue and red on the map. Bus routes that travel along the Bezuidenhoutseweg will also be diverted. The road will still be open to bicycles and for people who are walking.
Although the road in front of our church will not be closed, parishioners approaching the church from the direction of the city center, Central Station and the A13 motorway (Utrectsebaan) by car can expect delays due to the traffic diversion. Please bear this in mind and allow for some extra time to reach the church during that time.
