From Monday, 26 August until Friday, 13 September, the Bezuidenhoutseweg will be closed west of our church (between Emmapark and Koningin Marialaan). ENECO needs to dig up the road in order to do essential maintenance on the pipes involved with the “stadsverwarming” system. The road will be closed in the pink area on the map. Automobile traffic will be diverted along one of two routes (indicated in blue and green on the map.) Bus routes 43 and 44 will be diverted to the run on the Theresiastraat. The road will still be open to bicycles and for people who are walking.
Although the road directly in front of our church will not be closed, parishioners approaching the church from the direction of the city center, Central Station and the A13 motorway (Utrectsebaan) by car can expect delays due to the traffic diversion. Please bear this in mind and allow for some extra time to reach the church during that time.
