Thanks to the generosity of our parish community, the third annual COS Socktober Fest raised enough money to reach their target of 500 pairs of socks. During the month of October, the children from the First Communion classes will fill these warm socks with food and snacks for the homeless as their community service project. The filled socks will then be donated to the Sisters of Charity in Rotterdam and to the homeless shelter at Westeinde in The Hague for distribution to the homeless that they serve.
