On Tuesday, 10 February at 12 Noon, there will be a Mass in the Church which will include the opportunity to receive the Anointing of the Sick. Anyone who feels that this sacrament could strengthen his/her physical or mental well-being is welcome to come forward during that Mass.
On the following day, the Church will celebrate the World Day of the Sick and the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. The Feast was established by St. John Paul II in 1992. Pope Leo published a message for this year subtitled, “The compassion of the Samaritan: loving by bearing another’s pain“. You can read Pope Leo’s inspiring message here.
