The COS Hand in Hand Project organized a World Music Concert on 29 May that was well-attended, both in person and online. Guests from the region had a chance to enjoy welcome sounds of home, whilst those from other parts of the world had an opportunity to experience something new and broaden their musical experience. Arash Mahdawi, from Tehran, Iran played classical raga music on the bansuri flute while Ilyas Nadjafi, from Kabul, Afghanistan sang Persian ghazal music.
The Hand in Hand Group is looking forward to organizing more activities as the restrictions are further eased.
