We, The International English Speaking Roman Catholic Parish “Church of Our Saviour” in The Hague aim to share our assets, talents, and opportunities as a continuation of Christ’s mission. Through the wide variety of cultures and international networks, our inclusive parish offers a unique opportunity to translate the values of the Gospel in concrete initiatives to promote justice and peace. We promote a spirituality that is geared to respect people, planet, and sustainability. The inclusion of all people of good will is a constant guideline for our religious formation programs, personal witness, and community initiatives.

Dear Parishioner, Alumni, Visitor or Websurfer, Welcome to the website of the Roman Catholic Parish of the Church of Our Saviour in The Hague, The Netherlands. Here you will find a vibrant community that meets for liturgies, events and meetings in the parish, and through the video streaming of the Masses on Sundays, as well as on social media platforms. Every 25 years, the Church celebrates a great jubilee with many special liturgies, events, charities and other initiatives. During the new Pastoral Year 2024-2025, our Parish will celebrate the Holy Year with the universal church. The theme for this Jubilee is “Pilgrims of Hope”. The concept of “Hope” in today’s world is difficult to define. Hope in what or in who? With so much uncertainty for the future in and around Gaza, Ukraine, and in other conflict areas, we feel quite hopeless. A pilgrim finds his way step by step. He/she finds companions on the way. Together they talk, pray, look for shelter, and align their agendas and priorities to arrive at a common destination. Everyone has their own personal story, talents and needs ⎯ taking time out to think about “Hope” and how to give and receive it. We all know the saying: “There are 3 things that last, Faith, Hope and Love, but the greatest of these is Love.” If during the Holy Year we can walk and talk side by side to translate these 3 dimensions into our own lives, we may discover a path in walking it. I wish you all a very warm welcome to our parish and to the events that will bring people together during this new Pastoral Year.
