Corona Measures in our Parish

October 7, 2021

The Dutch Bishops Conference has released the new Corona rules for Roman Catholic Churches in the Netherlands.

As of Sunday, 26 September, there will be no more need for

  • Prior registration
  • Social distancing and
  • Corona checks at the door for evidence of being vaccinated.

Choirs are allowed to sing again in bigger numbers, but distance must be maintained between the singers. The congregation is also welcome to sing along with the choir.

Our parish has more people in the congregation than the average Dutch Church and that’s why we ask all our parishioners to wear a facemask during Mass. The galleries of the church are reserved for parishioners who prefer to maintain social distance.

Live streaming of our Sunday morning masses will continue to be available on our website and YouTube channel.

Pope Francis and the Bishops emphasize that getting the vaccine is an act of love for your community. We need to respect each other’s health. This means that you should not come to church if you are not sure about your health.

Thank you for your cooperation in making our church a safe place for all.
